Completely Renovated Small Hall Bathroom in Geneva, Illinois
The customer wanted to completely remodel their existing hall bathroom. It was not a large space and there was no room to expand it but wanted to create a feeling that is was larger.
We started out be removing all of the existing bathroom fixtures, bathtub/shower enclosure and tile. We then removed the existing standard ceiling and vaulted the ceiling into empty existing attic space.
Even though this was a smaller bathroom we installed a soaking bathtub and constructed a wall in front of it to give it a built in custom look.
We installed 12”x 12” marble tile in the bathtub/shower enclosure and installed the same tile on the bathtub wall and floor. Using a larger tile and the same color on the walls and floor it gave the illusion that the bathroom was a larger space.
To keep an open feeling in the bathroom we installed a pedestal sink. For necessary storage we installed a cabinet above the new toilet.
We completed this bathroom remodel with a matching bathtub/shower faucet and head, vanity faucet and towel hooks.
